It's a rite of passage in every child's life - her first box of Crayola. Several months ago, being the over-eager Mommy that I am, I bought Lexi some of these Crayola First Marks Markers, but after letting her try them a couple of times, I have to say I'm NOT a fan, and they went into the garbage. The ink literally pours out of them, and you have to hold them just so in order for them to work, so not a good tool for a toddler. Yesterday, I picked up a box of good ol' Crayons, and opted for the chubbier triangular kind. They were a big hit! She got the hang of them right away. Enjoy her first masterpiece, I'm sure it will be hanging on our fridge for months to come. (Yes, she ripped the top off the page and tried to eat it, I didn't save that part).
